Fearless Moment (Part 2)

Seminggu selepas mereka tinggal di rumah anak-anak yatim. Aika dan Aisya cuba kuatkan diri untuk terus hidup tanpa orang tersayang, suasana di rumah anak-anak yatim atau dikenali sebagai Fantasia House telah membuka mata mereka bahawa bukan hanya mereka sahaja yang kehilangan ibubapa, malah ramai lagi penghuni disini lebih teruk dari mereka, ada yang ibubapa mereka mati di hadapan mereka sendiri. Salah seorang dari mereka adalah, Eugene, kawan baik Aika dan Aisya. 

Eugene ialah budak lelaki yang sekelas dengan Aika tetapi tua setahun dari Aika dan Aisya. Aika dan Aisya berada dikelas berbeza. Bapa Eugene adalah rakan karib bapa pernah bekerja dibawah syarikat bapa Aika dan Aisya.  Eugene menjadi anak yatim piatu selepas satu kes rompakan yang berlaku 3 tahun lepas ,di kedai emas keluarganya, kes itu berlaku ketika Eugene keluar bermain bersama Aika dan Aisya. Ibubapa dan adik perempuan Eugene telah menjadi tebusan dan dibunuh dalam incident tersebut. Sebelum ibubapa Aika dan Aisya meninggal, mereka pernah Tanya Eugene samada beliau terima pelawaan mereka untuk menjadi anak angkat keluarganya kerana Eugene tinggal sebatang kara. 

Namun berikut, pelawaan keluarga Aika dan Aisya ditolak oleh Eugene kerana tidak mahu menyusahkan siapa-siapa. Seperti biasa, pihak kerajaan datang untuk membawa Eugene ke Fantasia House, tempat dimana  kanak-kanak bawah 15 tahun yang kehilangan ibubapa dan tidak mempunyai keluarga terdekat untuk penjagaan mereka. Kanak-kanak tersebut akan dilindungi oleh pihak kerajaan dan akan menjalani latihan khas dari segi physical dan mental. 

Sekian lama mereka berpisah namum persahabatan mereka masih kekal dalam ingatan. Eugene telah beberapa tahun tinggal di  Fantasia House. Jadi dia lebih mengenali keadaan atau suasana yang berlaku di Fantasia House. Tidak lama selepas itu, kedengaran penguman dari Puan Suzie, pengurus Fantasia House. “ Kepada Nur Aisya Natasha Bt Badrulhisham. Sila datang kebilik CS Selatan sekarang juga, terima kasih.”

Kehairanan mereka seketika apabila mereka mendengar penguman tersebut.

Eugene tertanya-tanya mengapa hanya Aisya sahaja, bukan kedua-dua mereka dipanggil bersama. Adakah Aisya membuat apa-apa salah?

Aisya semakin gemuruh apabila Eugene berkata begitu. “T..TAK!! AISYA TAK BUAT-BUAT APA SALAH PUN!”.

Aika mengetuk kepala Eugene dengan buku. “Tolong jangan takut-takutkan Aisya, kalau Aisya tak buat apa-apa, mengapa perlu takut, pergi saja lah”.

“Sorry, tak bermaksud pun untuk menakutkan Aisya, Saya Tanya saja. Aisya tak perlu risaulah. Kita pergi sama-sama tapi kami hanya akan tunggu Aisya kat luar sahaja,OK?”, Eugene berkata sambil menggosok kepalanya. Aisya hanya mengangguk kepalanya sahaja.

20 minit Aisya berada dalam Bilik CS (Council Survey). Eugene cuba untuk curi dengar dari pintu tetapi bilik tersebut kalis bunyi. Apa yang mereka perlu buat hanyalah menunggu. 10 minit selepas itu, Aisya keluar dari bilik CS bersama-sama dengan Puan Suzie. 

Puan Suzie menolak cermin matanya sambil berkata “Saya harap awak dapat menerima perlawaan mereka dan tolong jangan menghampakan harapan mereka”. Selepas itu, Puan Suzie pergi meninggalkan mereka. Aisya senyap dan membeku seketika. 

Aika risau selepas melihat rauk muka Aisya, “ Apa yang Puan Suzie beritahu kamu?”.

Fearless Moment (Part 1)

Aisya tiada tempat untuk bergantung kecuali kakak kembarnya,Aika seorang sahaja. Walaupun mereka baru berumur 10 tahun,  mereka telah kehilangan kedua-dua orang yang mereka sayangi. Ibu beliau meninggal sewaktu ingin melahirkan Aisya, ayahnya pula meninggal akibat kemalangan jalan raya. Sewaktu kematian ayah, Aisya menangis tetapi Aika tidak. Aika hanya peluk Aisya dan berkata “Aisya tak perlu risau, sesuatu yang telah berlaku itu ada hikmahnya..”, Aika tersenyum sambil membelai rambut Aisya. 

Pihak kerajaan telah menghantar mereka ke rumah anak-anak yatim disebabkan mereka tidak mengenali saudara-mara mereka yang berdekatan. Pada malam itu, Aisya tidak dapat tidur kerana hatinya masih lagi berat untuk menerima dugaan  ini. Beberapa kali Aisya cuba untuk tidur, namum otaknya  masih mengenangkan arwah kedua ibubapa mereka. Aisya memanjat ke katil atas dimana tempat Aika tidur. “Kakak, sudah tidur ke?”. 

Aika melempar bantal ke muka Aisya dengan muka sedikit marah, “Kalau kakak dah tidur pun, Aisya dah ganggu dah pun..”

Aisya berasa bersalah sambil menunduk kepalanya, “Maaf Kakak! Aisya sebenarnya tak boleh tidur sebab terkenangkan arwah ayah..” Aisya memeluk bantal sambil cuba menahan dirinya dari menangis. 

Aika senyap seketika selepas adiknya berkata begitu, “Aisya, Kakak pun merasai benda yang sama, tapi apa yang kita boleh buat hanya terima seadanya dan cuba berusaha untuk bangun dengan sendiri”

Aisya tidak memahami kata-kata yang diucapkan oleh Aika, namun Aisya tahu bahawa kakaknya cuba untuk memulihkan semangatnya kembali. “Aisya akan cuba” Aisya berkata sambil senyum kepada Aika.

 Aisya cuba mendekati Aika, “Kakak, nak tidur dengan kakak boleh tak?” Aisya berkata dengan suara yang manja.

Aika mengheret selimutnya sambil berkata “suka hati Aisya lah, kakak tak kisah pun” 

Aika dan Aisya berkongsi selimut, Aika tidur menyiring kepalanya menghala ke dinding, Aisya pula tidur menghala mukanya ke arah belakang kakaknya.

Ketika Aisya cuba untuk tidur, Aika bertanya  tanpa berpaling kemuka Aisya “Aisya, apa cita-cita Aisya nak jadi nanti besar?”.

“Aisya nak jadi seorang pelukis, and Aisya cita-cita nak masuk kolej tempat mak belajar dulu, Ayah pernah cerita tempat itu sangat cantik”, Aisya memjawap sambil membayangkan keindahan dan suasana tempat ibunya belajar. 

Aika hanya membalas “Yakah?” 

Aisya berasa hairan “Kenapa tiba-tiba kakak Tanya?”. 

Aika tidak balas pertanyaan Aisya, Aisya hanya menganggap kemungkinan kakaknya telah tidur.

Personal Fic to My dear twinnie Rie

“Hurray~ This is the first day I’m becoming a High School Student~” Rie cheered to her heart’s content. Finally, Rie has reached 16, and she will enrol Shutoku High School with her older brother, Shintarou, Midorima Shintarou. When she was preparing herself for school, Shintarou called for her. “Hurry up! Or I’ll leave you behind and you have to go to school all by yourself”. Rie was in a hurry when she heard her brother said that until she almost tripped herself down the stairs. As she reached the dining table, she gobbled up her food. Her attitude was seen by her brother, “Rie….can you eat more slowly?? You’ll -…” before Shintarou could finish his sentence, Rie choked on her food that she ate. “NIICHAN!!! W-WA….T…ER...”. Shintarou passed her a glass of water. He sighed “I didn’t even get to finish my sentence and you already choked on your food, Rie” After Rie finished up her breakfast, she said “What you said there is a PRAYER, In this case, I blame you, niichan.  So, you have to wash my plates~” Rie smirked. Shintarou took the morning paper and smacked her head with it “That’s very ‘clever’ of you~ That’s just an excuse so don’t mention my name, wash it yourself”

“Oww~! That hurts, you’re so uncool, niichan” Rie rubbed her head. “Say what you want to say, we’re already late” Shintarou left his plates on the dining table. “Niichan! Who wants to wash these plates!? ”. Shintarou wore his shoes as he said “Just leave them there, I’ll wash them when we get back”, Rie was touched when her brother offered himself to wash their plates. They stepped out from their house. As Rie had expected, her brother’s partner, Takao, will always wait in front of their house to go to school together. Her brother’s partner is also Rie’s first love-at-first sight. Rie thought to herself as she smiled slightly, “Yes!! Takao Kazunari! Finally I’ll get to study in the same school as him and he’ll be my senior!! Is this a dream?!”

My friends told me that Bakao (Takao’s nickname given by Rie) and my brother are weirdos because they always bring along weird stuffs with them, well…actually those weird stuffs that my brother always carries with him was actually his lucky item that was told by Oha-Asa, the daily horoscope programme. My brother believes that bringing those stuffs will bring him good fortune (much more like feng-shui). Bakao always brings his cart along every day and everywhere he went, my brother as his passenger. I never thought that this era would still have a cart, oh well~ might as well appreciate the artistry of a bygone era ~ Besides, that had actually made him special. He’s willing to do anything for my brother, anyone would be so lucky to have him as a spouse.

It’s strange to see that Bakao didn’t bring his cart today. I wonder why? Just as Rie was about to ask Takao…but…”EH?!WHERE DID THEY GO?! @A@lll I WAS LEFT BEHIND?!” Rie ran until she bumped into someone. “I’m sorry” she apologized to the guy without looking at his face. Rie saw his school uniform by accident. “Wasn’t this is Kaijo High School’s uniform? School for idols and geniuses…” The guy earlier replied “EH?! Aren’t you Riecchi?? Midorima Rie??” Rie startled because she had heard his voice somewhere before…when she looks up to his face…It’s just like what she thought. The guy that she bumped into was named Kise Ryouta, the famous model that was shown on TV and also in magazines. Kise is quite good- looking, no wonder he is a model at such a very young age. Even though he’s good looking, that didn’t attract Rie at all, because he’s not her type.

“It’s bad luck bumping into you today, Kise…” Rie gave him an uneasy look on her face” Kise cries out (he’s totally faking it on purpose)”Riecchi~! How could you~! Huk3. ..You’re indeed Midorimacchi’s little sister, being a Tsundere. For you maybe it’s bad luck, but for me it’s good luck-ssu! Today’s the first year’s grand ceremony, right?” Rie answered with pride “Yup, and I’m officially a Shutoku High School student” Kise grabbed her hand and said “Come on, I’ll take you to your new school”. Rie accepted Kise’s offer for bringing her to her new school with a big smile on her face. But, that smile didn’t last long.  Kise had tricked her. She thought that he was bringing her to Shutoku High, instead, he brought her to Kaijo High. “WHAT IS THIS?! YOU TRICKED ME!! YOU TOLD ME THAT YOU’RE TAKING ME TO SHUTOKU!! NOT KAIJO!!” Kise chuckled. “Eh? Did I say something like that??  If I’m not mistaken, I told you that I’m bringing you to your new school, I didn’t mention WHICH school~”

Rie felt the presence of 2 more figures walked up behind her. When she turned around, there’s 2 guys with muscular body and their height were just around Kise’s. One of them spoke “Oi Kise! Is this the girl you’re talking about??” Kise replied right after he was asked by the guy. “Hai,senpai~ this is the girl that I told you about~ Our new manager, Midorima Rie” Rie was surprised to hear that. “WHAT MANAGER? !   WHEN DID I SAY THAT I WANT TO BE YOUR MANAGER?! ” The guy before patted her shoulder as he said, “I’m conveying my thanks to you, I’m so touched that a cute girl like you would offer yourself to be our manager. With this let me introduce myself. I’m Moriyama Yoshitaka. I’m a 3rd year this year. It’s nice to meet you” He then shook Rie’s hand.” Oh, I forgot. This guy here is Kasamatsu Yukio, our club’s captain. He was supposed to be a 4th year this year, but he failed his final exam last year, so he have to repeat another year” Moriyama introduced the other guy that was beside him. “Oh poor Kasamatsu-senpai because he didn’t passed his final exam-ssu! “ Kise made a sad face. Kasamatsu’s face reddened as he yelled, “OI! I KNOW THAT YOU GUYS ARE SAYING THAT TO ME!!” Then he kicked Kise. “ Senpai ! Why is it only me who gets it?!” Kise always got bullied by his seniors, well, not only just his seniors, but he had been a target since middle school by the other members of GoM.

As the three of them were still engrossed in their arguments, this is my chance to flee away. Rie tiptoed backwards slowly. Without her realizing, she bumped into someone once again. Rie turned her head around slowly. The guy’s face looks like an extreme monkey. The guy said “MISS~ YOU’RE SO CUTE! PLEASE GO OUT WITH ME!” Kise turned his around and look where the voice came from. “Oh, Hayakawa-senpai, Ohayo~” There were full of WH- questions playing in Rie’s head. Rie fled away towards Kaijo without her realizing, entering the school compound. “NOOOOO” Kise called her out” RIECCHI!!! WAIT!!” Seeing that, Kasamatsu took out an order, saying “You guys, we have to chase her back, if not she’ll fall into other club’s traps! We’ll lose our manager in seconds!” All of the members of Kaijo Basketball Team replied in unison “OK BOSS!!!”

As Rie ran, she glanced back and saw the whole Kaijo Basketball Team was chasing her. “OMG!!!! WHY ARE THEY CHASING ME?!  I’m so dead if I get caught!” She ran as fast as she could. Kise called out for her “Riecchi!!! Wait!!!” “She’s too fast, as expected from our Manager” Moriyama blurted out, “Oh, Midorima-chan~ Why are you running away from us?” Hayakawa called her out as well” MISS~!”

There were so many seniors promoting their club, as it was too much of an obstacle for Rie to run faster. Then she saw an empty room as she hid herself in that room and locked the door. After that she heard Kise’s voice “Eh? Where did Riecchi go??” “Maybe she’s in this room?” Moriyama said as he pointed to the empty room which Rie was currently hiding inside.  Rie was shivering in fear because she thought that she’ll get caught by those members of Kaijo Basketball Team. “I’m so dead if they found me”. Just then Moriyama tried to open the door as Kasamatsu tried to stop him from opening it. ”OI! Look at the sign! What room is this?” Kise read “Girl’s Locker Room…EEH?!” Moriyama stopped for a while, “Kasamatsu….Why are you stopping me from seeing a very nice view” Kasamatsu blurted out firmly, “DON’T SPOIL OUR CLUB’S NAME!!!”

After that, they left. Rie sighed in relief.. “Finally they left… Today is too tiring….” She sat down for a while “Just now they said that this is the girl’s locker room…maybe I should change my clothes so that they wouldn’t recognize me”. She then changed into Kaijo High’s uniform and kept her Shutoku High’s uniform inside her bag. ”This is for your own good, Rie” she told herself. As she had expected, the members of Kaijo’s Basketball Team didn’t recognize her, since she pretended to walk alongside a group of female Kaijo students.

As Rie was walking alone, she saw a few number of students crowding around the school’s dashboard. Rie walked over to read it. There were lists of name and classes on the school’s dashboard. “Oh, there’s no way that my name would be in those lists, ahaha~” Just then she noticed a name, a VERY familiar name that was written “Midorima Rie”. Rie was shocked. “W-WHAT!? MY NAME’S IN HERE?! NO WAY!!!” A girl suddenly appeared behind her as she said” So we’re in the same class” The girl smiled sweetly as she introduced herself” I’m Eunri Hanagisa. You can call me Hana, Yoroshiku” “Well…. I’m Midorima Rie….you can just call me Rie….b-but I think that they’re having a mistake there….” Rie still could believe that her name was there in the list.

Suddenly someone placed his hands on Rie’s shoulder “Nope, there are no mistakes in that class list” Rie turned around and saw Kise was smiling innocently “What did you do? Why Am I in this school?” Kise chuckled, “I asked the school’s authorities to put your name here since I’ve burnt your eligibility letter to Shutoku High by accident. Hahahahaha~ So I wanted to make up for it~” Rie froze. “Why…? Why didn’t you tell me earlier??” Kise replied without a doubt “How can I explain because Riecchi ran away before I could”. Rie lost her energy right away as she heard that “Why….why?”

School period was over. Rie arrived home , looking quite not too energetic. “Tadaimasu….” “Okaeri” a reply was heard, as Shintarou was seen in an apron as he walked over towards Rie. “Where have you been? You didn’t show up at the 1st year’s ceremony today” Rie sighed. “I did…. But not in Shutoku.” Shintarou still didn’t get what she’s saying. She then told him everything that happened on that day from the very beginning. “HOW DARE YOU KISE?!!” “Well, if you’re angry, it’s no use, Nii-chan…Nothing will change. I’ve already become a Kaijo student. Rie felt like crying. Shintarou thought for a while “If you don’t want to go to Kaijo…. You could just go to Seirin” Rie looked up as she stared at her brother, still didn’t understand the message. “Meaning?? I don’t get it…” Shintarou pressed his cellphone button. “I heard that the 1st year ceremony in Seirin is tomorrow, because they always start the ceremony a day later than other schools” Rie thought for a bit, “Chotto…. Wasn’t Seirin High is a bit too far from our house???” Shintarou kept quiet for a while. “Forget it then… Rie, stay where you are at Kaijo”  “Nii-chan! How could you?! QAQ” Rie made a childish reaction once she heard her brother’s comment. “If that’s the case… Let me ask you, Rie. Did you bring your lucky item for today?” Rie froze. “Err…..What’s my lucky item for today??” Shintarou walked away “ Don’t say anything when you’re the one  who didn’t bring it” Rie went to her emo corner “ Looks like I have to endure it for 2 years…” OTL….
